Dr. Shiham Mahroof

General Practitioner

Some doctors treat patients. Dr. Mahroof has crossed continents to do it. A British-Australian GP with roots in a family of physicians and surgeons (three generations), Dr. Mahroof brings a rare depth of experience to every consultation. Trained at the prestigious St. George’s University Hospital in London and holding Australian & Canadian medical qualifications, his clinical journey has taken him across the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, North America, and the Middle East — a career built not just on credentials, but on genuine human connection. It’s in his DNA. His expertise includes: Workers Compensation, Indigenous Health, skin cancer and minor surgery, and Veteran health. He holds a particular passion for supporting those navigating PTSD, domestic violence, and ADHD — conditions that demand not just clinical skill, but deep empathy. His commitment to Indigenous communities goes beyond the consulting room, backed by dedicated cultural competence training and Indigenous Health education. Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Mahroof moves between languages as naturally as he moves between worlds. Away from medicine, you’ll find him carving down a mountain on a snowboard, hunting down rare sneakers to restore, or adding another stamp to a passport that’s seen nearly 90 countries. But ask him what matters most — and the answer never changes: time with his wife, two daughters, and twin sons. A doctor shaped by the world. Grounded by family. Here for you.
